Style

                                           Gloria Gene works mainly in acrylic although she does a select number of oil paintings every year. Her work varies in subject matter but the identifiable characteristic the texture medium that is incorporated onto the canvas before the creative process begins.The texture is the fundamental message of this artist .
                                           As a survivor of a near death experience Gloria knows about scars, we all have them she says. If we take time to breath and look we will find the beauty and lesson in the defects.
                                           The drying of the texture medium is unique to each piece and then dictates the subject and and placement of the work. Gloria’s other styles include palet knife painting for its texture , finger painting and Gloria has been known to and paint with chopsticks or anything she sees fit during the creative process.
 
 

Family                                

Gloria is a mother of three and grandmother of four, they resides in Davie a suburb or Fort Lauderdale Florida.
 
 
Exhibitions Gloria Gene paintings are on exhibition at Temple Beth Torah, Seed Food and Wine Festival  Garage 22 and other venues around South Florida.
